It has been a busy week. Tomorrow I will be driving to Tysons Corner for Frequent Traveler University and I am excited to be with many friends and meet new ones while we share our passion for travel, miles and points. It has been a long time since I have had a paid stay at a Hilton hotel and to be honest I forgot which credit I should use to pay for my room. There are four Hilton credit cards and here is the link to the cards. The card that earns the most Hilton Honors points per dollar is the Hilton HHonors Surpass AMEX Card at 12 points per dollar, followed by the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card earning 10 points per dollar. Both the Hilton HHonors AMEX and the Hilton HHonors Visa with no annual fees earn 6 HHonors points for every dollar spent. Since I have the Surpass that is the credit card I plan to use at the Hilton Tysons Corner.
Yes, I know the Hilton HHonors program has undergone a significant devaluation recently. Even after making a number of bookings, I still have many Hilton HHonors points, so I might as well add more to our account.
To earn bonus miles for your stay, read this post from Loyalty Traveler to double dip on your Hilton stay this weekend link. If you have not signed up for Hilton’s current bonus promotion, here is the link to earn 2,000 bonus points for the weekend and 1,000 points for each additional weeknight.
