American Airlines third quarter reduced mileage awards for Citi Advantage credit card holders are now available. These reduced mileage awards will save you 5,000 – 7,500 miles depending on the type of Citi Advantage card you have. For the available destinations coach round trip tickets are 17,500 – 20,000 miles and first class round-trip ticket are 42,500 – 45,000 miles. Here is the link. These reduced mileage award are valid for eligible round trip travel originating in the 48 contiguous United States.
Booking is valid now through September 30, 2012 for travel from July 1, 2012 through September 30, 2012. Excludes travel on July, 3 – July, 4 2012 and August, 30 – September, 2 2012. All travel must be completed by September 30, 2012.
Redemption of reduced mileage awards applies only to bookings made by phone through American Airlines Reservations or through airport or city ticket offices. To claim your award, or for more information, call American Airlines AAdvantage Reservations at 1-800-882-8880. A $25 award service charge per person applies to AAdvantage award reservations ticketed by our reservations offices.
Award travel is valid for Premium cabin and Main cabin travel on American Airlines, American Eagle or the AmericanConnection carrier where applicable.

The Reduced Mileage Awards may only be claimed from the primary cardmember’s Citi/ AAdvantage card account.
Valid for First Class on flights with two classes of service and Business Class on flights with three classes of service.
You must be a Citi/ AAdvantage credit cardmember at the time the award is issued to be eligible for a Reduced Mileage Award.
