We lost power at our home on Monday at 9 pm. Fortunately, we did not get that much rain here in the suburbs of Philadelphia. So our basement is dry and we still have hot water and gas for cooking as long as we use a match to light the burners on the cooktop. We have no heat, phone, cable or internet service. Most of the roads are clear and public transportation into Philadelphia has resumed. Many of the local shops and restaurant nearby are open. We had breakfast at Corner Bakery. They have really great oatmeal with delicious toppings.

Our travel plans have us flying to Maui next week with a stop in San Francisco. Hopefully our power will be restored before we leave.
