For the entire month of October when you transfer up to 50,000 US Airways miles your friend or family member gets 100% more miles. Transfers must be made in 1,000 mile increments and the cost to transfer miles is $0.01 per mile plus a processing fee of $30 and a tax recovery charge of 7.5%.
