On Wednesday night we watched two tennis legends, Andy Murray and Maria Sharapova, win at the US Open. Buying tickets the day we attended was easy. We searched usopen.org under the ticket tab there is a section for ticket exchange. This is like StubHub for US Open tickets.

Before the tennis matches we walked around the grounds and to my surprise Emirates Airline has an enclosed booth where you get to try out their first class suite with the assistance of a flight attendant. Here are some pictures. My husband was enjoying the seat and leg massage.

The suite has a separate coat closet and the food is an on demand menu.  Showers on the aircraft are available for up to 15 minutes for first class passengers. What way to travel!

Starwood has several booths at the US Open. The first booth is located outside the grounds and they were giving away SPG luggage tags to members. From this booth Starwood provides complimentary pedicabs to get you to the entrance of the US Open after. We preferred to walk since the weather was so beautiful.

Inside the US Open Starwood has a booth and they were giving away Starwood iPhone 4 cases and purple baseball hats with both SPG and US Open embroidered in white on the caps.  Hope to have a photo of me in my new purple baseball hat for you soon. Also at the SPG booth my husband and I entered to win a week vaction at the desination of our choice.  If you were the winner, what Stawood hotel or reort would you choose?
