Chip and Pin Credit Card for US Residents

Chase is going to be changing their British Airways Visa credit card to have both readers, the magnetic strip used in the US and a chip for use in many other countries. There is no time frame for the availability of this new card yet, but it will be a great feature when traveling abroad. Credit cards with only the magnetic strip will not work at machines only using the chip and pin technology. Buying train tickets from a ticket machine, paying at the pump for gasoline or renting by bicycles from automated service points will be possible with this new credit card feature.
