I cannot remember the last time I was home for the entire weekend without leaving in a few days for a longer trip. It must have been sometime in May or early June. We have been doing a lot a traveling and when we are in the area we have been at the New Jersey shore almost every weekend.
This year has been a great year for traveling and we have many more trips planned before the year is over. If everything works out as planned, my husband will have flown with me for free as my companion on Southwest on 17 flights this year. Of those flights 9 of mine were free too from our old Southwest credits. In addition our flights to Buenos Aires, South Beach, Maui, Amsterdam and my trip to Chicago only cost us taxes and fees. We saved on hotels by booking in advance only with cancelable rates using hotel offers, low rates, prepaid certificates, free nights, hotel points, and cash and points for our stays.
Here is my monthly vacation calendar for 2011.
